I’ve been training in this headguard for a few months now. I chose this one because I liked the structure as well the design of it.
It’s a very thick and chunky headguard.
Construction
The construction is very well thought out.
It has got an adjustable closure system on top where you are able to adjust your head wide. In the back of the head there is a velcro fastener to fasten the head guard tight to your head. This worked out always very well, however the head guard sometimes shifted during a sparring session which quite bothered me. There are ear holes which cover your entire ear which is pretty good. Nevertheless never needed something like this, so I didn’t really care. The head guard protects a full face protection. Almost the whole face is covered. The cover includes very thick pad and a chin pad. So there is a very big protection all around the head guard. However I was sometimes annoyed by the thick and chunky padding.

Cons
- high price (I don’t know how much it is now but I bought the head guard for around 85€)
- sometimes feels too thick
4 out of 5 you just need to get used to it. Once you did you will probably love it.
